Creating a Simple Website with HTML

           I think this exercise was a great experience because i have never created a website before. I was really confused when I first saw this paper of instruction. The first thing that came out to my mind was to ask for my friend’s help who major in computer science, but I wanted to take a look and give it a try first so I read the instructions of creating a web page very carefully. Then I started to create a web-page by following every step of the instruction. I tried to make it very simple as it can but when I finished my first webpage, it went blank so it wasn’t working. There might be something wrong with the order of the background color but I am not sure how to fix it so I research for tutorial online to see if that can help. I finally made the fifth web-page successfully after I had seen the tutorial on Youtube. I didn’t add background color and marquee order. So it is just a very simple web-page with HTML. Something is better than nothing. I am very proud of myself to create the first web-page by myself. I think this was a great experience to learn, to know about the basic of HTM, especially the process of creating the web-page.
           Although I don't think that the experience of setting up html will be of great help to my future career, I think this is a learning process, and the learning process will progress no matter what you do in the future.

What do you want to get out of the class?

          I chose this class because this is a 3 credit requirement for my graduation degree, and when I browse classes that might fit my schedule, I found this one to be interesting. Out of this class, I would like to learn about artificial intelligence and how media as technology could change our life. I have been attracted by AI movies because I think robot has been very technology advanced. You can see robots serving as a waiter, cleanser, even a chess player. I am wondering if it is possible AI would have its emotions in the future, because that would really scare me. What if they know they are created by humans? I am very excited to have this class to learn about the how media and technology can bring to our life and how it influences the way we think. For example, we have to watch news on TV or newspaper to know what happen in the world. However, you just open your phone and you can know what really happen in the world right now. Epic Video

     This video comprises a comprehensive documentary describing the emergence and evolution of the internet over the past two decades. It also discussed the invention of various search engines such as google, the journalism organizations like the New York Times, some social media platforms and the Amazon online store. The video also analyzes briefly the origin and progression of some rivalries between the webs companies for example the one between google and Microsoft, as well as the New York Times.         I think the content provided in the video is implausible with a very brief but informative explanation of the topic. The calm and clear commentary of the video is also incredible and understandable to any viewer who understands the least of English.
