We had a guest speaker of Brain the other day, and he shared about some interesting news to us and we just had a discussion about how media and technology influences us. One news that I was impressed is that a company can predict whether you are pregnant or not based on what you have bought from Amazon or Walmart (I can ’ t recall). This sounds a bit creepy to me because i won ’ t be that surprised if a girl just walked into a store and bought some diaper. But if just base on what they buy in their daily life, I will be surprised how they predict whether you are pregnant and have a high possibility of getting it right. The experience of the Hunt I would say is incredible but a bit creepy. We were separated to the group and found answers together. After the activity, i felt like technology has connected us. I think that with the development of technology, we are more and more like a global village.            I think this exercise was a great experience because i have never created a website before. I was really confused when I first saw this paper of instruction. The first thing that came out to my mind was to ask for my friend’s help who major in computer science, but I wanted to take a look and give it a try first so I read the instructions of creating a web page very carefully. Then I started to create a web-page by following every step of the instruction. I tried to make it very simple as it can but when I finished my first webpage, it went blank so it wasn’t working. There might be something wrong with the order of the background color but I am not sure how to fix it so I research for tutorial online to see if that can help.
